Want to Become a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)?

Be recognized for your experience and knowledge in corporate compliance

Candidates must meet both the work experience and continuing education requirements
to be eligible for the exam

  • Persons with one year of full-time work experience, or 1,500 hours of compliance-related experience, are eligible for the CCEP exam
  • Students attending an accredited university are also eligible for the exam
  • Continuing Education: 20 hours must be earned in the 12 months prior to taking the exam (earn CEUs at SCCE events or submit non-SCCE events for accreditation consideration)

Maintain your CCEP by obtaining 40 hours of continuing education in your two‑year certification period

  • Attend one of many SCCE events ranging from 1–4 days: earn CEUs and network with your peers
  • Earn CEUs for speaking at an event or publishing an article
  • Submit non-SCCE sponsored events for accreditation consideration
