  • 1.  Low cost learning management system advice?

    Posted 10-11-2016 12:55 PM

    Hello All-

I work for a radiology physician practice with our physicians at multiple locations making education & training difficult to schedule.  One option I'm trying to explore for trainings we don't have to do in-person is a learning management system that is low cost and user-friendly.

We would like to be able to develop the content on our own, include test questions and have the ability to track who has completed and who has not.

I did an internet search and came up with several companies, so am just trying to sift through what is worth exploring further and what is not.

Thanks so much for any insight you can provide,

    Jay

We use Elsevier and have been very happy with it.  They have standard learning modules or you can create your own and upload to their system.  It keeps track of what has been completed or not.

Maybe this guide about the essence of LMS healthcare, how to build them, increase business value by their implementation, and more will help you.

Craig Weiss has a ton of information about LMS's.  The Craig Weiss Group (craigweissgrp.com).  He's non-partisan and very thorough.
