    Hi,

    I am curious to know what others are planning for Corporate Ethics & Compliance Week. We have jotted down some ideas for activities, but haven't firmed up any yet.  What theme/activities do you have planned?

    We host our Compliance Week earlier in the year. This year we did a "Road Trip" theme since everyone was still in a WFH situation. We thought "traveling virtually" to several of our locations across the US would be a fun way to discuss compliance. We had fun facts from each of the states we visited, a game (ex. my favorite was Compliance Roulette when we were visiting our Las Vegas office) and a compliance message authored by the leader at the visiting location. It was our best Compliance Week ever. Even now, when I think back on it I can't believe we pulled it off.

    Last year we had daily HIPAA Habits sent out to all staff that discussed how to safeguard patient information. In each daily email, we had an activity for them to complete such as crossword or word search puzzles. We also had a search and find game where staff would need to find specific policies that correlate to the daily information.

    This year we focused on HIPAA again and sent out daily HIPAA Myth Busters. We also focused on recognizing employees who make a significant contribution to our ethical and compliance profile. We accepted Compliance Champion nominations throughout the week and had a daily drawing for Compliance Champion t-shirts. Each employee nominated will also receive a certificate of recognition and a copy of the nomination form their managers submitted.
