We do not permit the receipt of cash or cash equivalents and have not changed these rules due to Covid. In the event a staff person would receive such, we ask it be forwarded to our foundation. For example, I was mailed a thank you card with a gift card following a speaking engagement and gave it to our foundation.

Subject: Giving and/or receiving of Gift Cards
Hi all. Looking to see if others are making any changes to thier Gifts/Benefits policy during Covid 19 protocols? Best practice has always been no cash or cash equivalents (gift cards), however, since Covid our vendors, suppliers/customers etc. are finding it difficult to exchange gifts with our employees and looking to see if others have changed their policy on this and if so, what would be the dollar amount or guidelines around it?
Thanks in advance for your responses on this topic.
