In regards to the new Medicare Advantage and Part D regulation: Reducing the Burden of the Compliance Program Training Requirements (§§ 422.503(b)(4)(vi)(C) and § 423.504(b)(4)(vi)(C))
We are a managed behavioral health company and a first tier to our health plan clients. A CMS staff person recently sent me a response to a question we asked which stated that we are expected to obtain annual certifications/attestations from all of our Medicare Advantage providers showing that they have taken the CMS Compliance training. I was curious how other organizations are going to comply with this regulation. How do you obtain annual provider certification/attestations? I realize monitoring of this requirement is temporarily postponed but we want to comply as quickly as possible.
