We have a pediatric practice that has a very active Facebook page which does identify them as one our practices and which is monitored by someone at our corporate office. (FYI- we allow practices to have their own FB page in addition to the corporate FB page as long as we can monitor their posts and serve as an administrator.) This practice is offering flu shots to their patients and they posted that if a parent wanted to schedule a flu shot, they could send the child's age, first initial and last name to put them on the schedule. Their rationale is that as long as the parent is supplying the name, they are giving consent for the child's information to be on FB. Obviously, I discouraged the practice site from doing this for a variety of reasons. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can persuade them to stop.
Thanks.
