The main board continues to show all systems are up and operational.  We are green across the board.  Friday protocols are in effect.

Boots checking in.  TGIF-finishing up 1st full week of working from home, I could get used to it.  We have people on 14 day quarantine in town now.  Somebody who was exposed in a big city to the SE of us decided that he needed to come visit family in town.

Thought for the day:  Sometimes I wrestle with my inner demons.  Other times, we just hug and dance.

    Stay healthy my friends.

Checking from Central Florida.  The Governor is taking a lot of backlash at not enacting a statewide stay-at-home order.  Our cases continue to rise exponentially with having not enough tests, and taking a long time to get the results back.  Some Counties are not enacting stay-at-home orders, they believe that only the Governor can do that.  I believe this will lead to an increase in cases that could have been prevented.  My county, Volusia, has 34 cases, 4th highest in Central Florida.  We do not have a stay-at-home order.  There are a lot of people doing things around town.  The good thing is that the local businesses are staying busy.

Keep calm and wash your hands.

Gramma Ann checking in!  Made it through the first week of working from home.  Between phone calls, emails and texts I don't feel like I have been gone from my office, but I guess that is how it is supposed to work?
Happy Friday and stay safe everyone!

Checking in from TN. We have created a community wide drive thru testing center at my office outside and implementing several new telemedicine protocols. I am only going in 2 days a week and having lots of gotomeetings. It has been a bit slow in my department but helping in other departments as needed. TN has pretty much closed everything except grocery stores, pharmacies, and critical plants, etc. and can only do take out orders (including alcohol haha). Our numbers continue to rise but hoping this state "quarantine" will slow things down.

Checking in from East Central Minnesota (south of Duluth near the WI border).  Our Governor has issued a Stay at Home order effective just before Midnight tonight - I'm really hoping this order delays the spread of the virus enough that the hospitals will be able to increase the number of available beds/vents to handle the cases - or by some miracle a vaccine is found.  Stay safe and healthy everyone!!

Checking in from AZ! Cases continue to increase at an exponential rate, we are now at 509 cases (9 deaths) and 300 of those cases are in my county with a majority of people ages 18-39. The governor has refused to issue a stay-at-home order and there are on-line petitions going around hoping to persuade him. Took a walk yesterday for some fresh air and there are still A LOT of people out and about. Down in Tucson at the Mexico/Arizona border, Mexico protesters have started to block Mexico bound traffic out of concern that travelers from US are bringing the virus to Mexico. (Good thing I canceled my short vacation to Mexico this weekend!!) Finishing up my first full week working from home, still adjusting. TGIF! Stay healthy out there!

Last count, Hawaii had 106 cases.  The stay at home work from home seems to be helping.  Still can get out for walks and get to the ocean for a swim (physically distancing from others).  Hanging in there.
