Initial impressions/comments/thoughts about the contact tracing applications under development. I'm curious what those in the Compliance and Privacy communities have to say and share about these proposed apps.
I also posted this on LinkedIn...more of just getting an idea of what some folks think about these apps. I know there are still lots of questions and technical issues that need to be worked out. At this time I'm seriously considering using this app if it will help. For me...at least for now...the benefits of helping to contribute to reducing the spread of the virus outweigh the risks (whatever they may be depending on who you listen to) from my perspective. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer...so this is solely in the C&C zone.
