Southern Bell checking in from Georgia.

Well things are heating up around  here a little more today. Georgia has around 1,100 cases now, with around 40 deaths. We went from 600 to 1,100 in a matter of 48 hours, so that got the attention of the public. The problem we are having is getting our test results back. We have tested over 250 people at our local hospital, but we are waiting on the results of 150 of those test. Patience is running thin. People are scared and the delay in test results is not helping.

Every day during the screening at the door of the hospital before anyone can enter, we have had employees sent home for failing the screening. They mostly had a low grad fever. So now we have an offsite room set up to test all the employees that fail the screening. The problem we are having is it is our very heavy pollen season and people are suffering from sinus reactions. So it is hard to tell if it is sinus and allergies or Covid-19.

On a lighter note, I have not seen a soap opera during the middle of the day, in the middle of the week in years! I hope I am not getting hooked! Yikes! I may have to figure out how to record them when I go back to reality!!!

Has anyone know of a group called Soap Opera's Anonymous??? Asking for a friend....

Hope everyone is well. Stay safe and be kind to one another.

Southern Bell signing off for now!
