CCEP Candidate Group

Hi -

As of March 2021, I have the requisite hours to sit for a certification.  I am passionate about pursuing a CCEP certification; however, the CHC certification would be more practical at the moment.  Has anyone taken more than one certification exam in close proximity to each other, specifically the CCEP and the CHC?  Can I use the same chunk of hours for more than one certification within the same year?  I'm open to all feedback, tips, or thoughts.

Hi Kacie,

Yes, you can.  Many have done exactly what you described, using the CEUs for multiple exams within the same approval period.

I got my CHC in 2/14 and CHPC in 7/14, so it can be done.

You can definitely do that, Kacie! I agree with your rationale about using the continuing education hours for more than one certificate. I applied for CHC in May, passed it yesterday and applied for CHPC today. CCEP is next on my list. I had passed both CHPC and CCEP several years ago, but my career took me to the internal audit, so I let those certificates expire.. Now have to retake the exams - definitely a lesson learned!
