    Hello Everyone,

I'm interested in a legitimate online prep course, preferably in the style of the Certified Internal Auditor course offered by Gleim or something similar. Any other books or online resources would be helpful as well and sincerely appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Tim

    Hi Timothy,

For the CCEP your options are basically to attend one of the SCCE Compliance Academies or join an online study group. The next CCEP study group starts in November and many people have found it helpful.

If you check out the library and old posts on SCCEnet you will find lots of resources and tips.

Thank you, Caitlyn, I appreciate the information and might join the study group. I just wasn't sure if any courses like that existed or not. Do the study groups touch on the multiple levels of compliance so that the test taker will hopefully gain a multifaceted understanding of compliance? I specifically work in the field of regulatory compliance and investigations, but there may be some areas I'm weaker in and might need a more in-depth understanding. I just want to make sure that before I apply to take the test, I am prepared for those topics.

    Thanks again for your reply.

    Tim

    Hi Tim,

I am not quite sure what you mean by "multiple levels of compliance so that the test taker will hopefully gain a multifaceted understanding of compliance." During the study group we cover the exam content areas and we go over resources that dive pretty deeply into all compliance topics. The study group is only four hours spread over four days so we cover the most important parts and it is the responsibility of each person to study the additional material on their own to supplement.

I strongly suggest taking Cait's study group.  She gives the information on slides, quiz questions, and references.  I do not think you will find anyone who does not say Cait and her study groups are anything less that outstanding.

Hi Caitlyn- how/where can we find out if you decide to do a training early 2022? Should we just check back here?

    Hi Abhilash,

Most likely it will be 2023 before I am able to lead another study group for the CCEP. The good news is that will be here before we know it!
