After Marie pointed out the current handouts for this year's sessions for the 2017 CI, my eraser is busy as I began doing my homeworkBy having a chance to review some of the slides, I could get a better idea of the content of some of the sessions I was thinking of attending. Now, after comparing the bullet points and slide decks for the sessions, I’ve definitely made some changes. Some sessions I had on my “to attend” list are gone as I replaced them with other sessions.
So my suggestion and takeaway for folks heading to the CI, especially first timers…take advantage of the just over 3 weeks before the CI to do a little "homework". Take a look at some of the slide decks of sessions you are considering. This is especially useful if you have two or more sessions that you may be thinking about that are scheduled at the same date and time. Looking at the slide deck may help you decide which session to attend when having to make a choice between several you are considering.

So stay tuned…I may even have an interesting tool you may find very useful that I wish someone would have provided me when I first attended a CI!If you have some CI 101 ideas you'd like me to explore...just let me know...glad to help.
I did the same thing -- I changed at least 4 of the sessions that were penciled in on my schedule and I have identified "Plan B" sessions for some of the slots....:)
I went from the HCCA home page, through Resources links:
(They don’t appear to be on the actual “CI” site yet).
