  • 1.  PSI Testing Center Experience

    Hello Group,
    I wanted to share my recent experience with testing for the CHPC at a PSI testing location. I was scheduled for my test last Friday 1/20/2023. I was caffeinated, studied, and was ready to go! Shortly after I arrived, I was informed by staff that the PSI server's had crashed. I was obligated to wait for 30 minutes while they tried to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was turned away and had to go home to reschedule.
    I called PSI and they had a opening for Saturday 1/21/2023. When I got to the PSI testing location, they informed me that there was a issue with downloading the CHPC exam to their servers and that I would have to call and reschedule... Once again.
    I have re-scheduled for a third time on 2/14/2023. Hopefully the third time is a charm!

    My question for the group is: Has anyone else had the same or similar experience at a PSI testing center?

    I had the same experience at a PSI site. I was rescheduled and drove 30 minutes to have it happen again.

    Oh no! Sorry to hear that happened. Is there an online option? I've taken exams in-person at a testing site and through online proctoring. My best experience was with online proctoring.

    I am so sorry to hear about your experience.  I am planning to take my test at the end of 2023.  However, I've taken other professional licensure tests and it was a good, smooth experience.  I am hopeful February will bring a completely different experience and a passed exam.  Hang in there!
