Just wanted to send a thank you for the ongoing wonderful online support.
Although I was not able to join the most recent study group opportunities, I did continue to follow along by logging in, looking at the comments and training strategies.
I am happy to share that I did take the CHPC exam (repeat exam) early September, and I did pass.
This time, I feel that my studying approaches made the difference – versus gaining new knowledge going in to the exam:
- Paying extra attention to the wording of the exam – one word can have a big impact on the selection of the answer (for example, when speaking to someone from the finance dept, the privacy officer would most likely need to review the following document...) and the response would tie to what is most relevant to finance...of the choices provided
- Paying attention to, and knowing the order of the steps the auditor should take... (from training materials) when completing investigations and risk management tasks...very helpful to answer those first, next, best questions.
I will continue to engage with the privacy group online as able, thanks for all you do!
