The Compliance Coordinator will be an essential team member of the compliance team within the Legal/Compliance Department. This position will support day-to-day compliance functions executed throughout MNsure in accordance with the compliance strategic plan for the organization. Specifically, this position will support complaint processing from all sources, the design and publication of reports and compliance specific metrics, the design, delivery, and tracking of compliance training, including key areas such as the agency code of conduct, and the development of standardized policy and procedure templates and processes.

This position will be heavily involved in conducting risk assessments and compliance investigations. Key deliverables for this position include timely resolution of complaints, the implementation of a reporting calendar for various metrics, the design of a central repository for business function policy and procedures, participation in the design and delivery of compliance-related training.

The Compliance Coordinator will also be a vital partner to business units in the development of compliance awareness across the agency.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) years of professional experience demonstrating skills in compliance, auditing, investigations, policy, internal controls, risk assessment or related area.

OR

A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, human resources, health policy or related field AND one (1) year of professional experience demonstrating skills in compliance, auditing, investigations, policy, internal controls, risk assessment or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Three (3) years of experience with compliance, auditing, internal controls or investigations.

-Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, or Healthcare. Juris Doctorate or Certified Public Accountant.

-Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC).

-Working knowledge of the COSO Internal Controls Framework.

-Working knowledge of the United States Sentencing Commission Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations.

-Proficiency in SharePoint.

-Proficiency with MicroSoft Office products especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
