- Adherence to Compliance Guidelines
a) Observes all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
b) Observes all Mercy Health System and applicable subsidiary policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct.
c) Observes Mercy Health System Corporate Compliance policy by reporting any concerns about compliance or business practices to his or her immediate supervisor, appropriate management and/or the Corporate Compliance Officer.
d) Participates in compliance related education.
e) Where applicable, participates in development and implementation of compliance work plan applicable to specific area of responsibility.
f) Where applicable, promotes and adheres to the relevant elements of the Mercy Health System compliance program.
g) Where applicable, instructs department colleagues regarding compliance and maintains policies and procedures reasonably necessary to provide for compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
