Hamline University Has a CCB Accredited Health Care Compliance Certificate Program

Last spring, the Health Law Institute at Hamline University School of Law was accredited to offer a certificate program for law students, grad students and working professionals.  So far we have a good mix from each category, which makes for a very interactive learning environment. This program is designed to prepare students for the CHC exam and become certificed health care professionals.   We currently offer 2 courses in the fall semester and 2 courses in the spring semester - and require 2 credits of electives as well.

As we move into recruiting Cohort 2, I'm wondering if anybody has any input on the best time to offer these courses (currently all courses begin at 4:00 p.m. and we've had some feedback that this is not optimum) - also what are the main tools our students should have to hit the ground running in the field of health care compliance.  Thanks in advance for any feedback.  Marcia K Miller
